BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA/Plano, TX. This role is crucial within the Global Payments Technology sector, specifically focusing on Enterprise Payments Treasury Products. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and owning all aspects of the business and technical product vision. The ideal candidate must possess strong product management skills and the ability to set and promote strategy across various facets of the business and technology organizations. A technical background is essential, as the candidate will need to provide guidance and make strategic design decisions. Interpersonal skills are also critical, as the role requires interaction with different groups and various levels of a large organization. This position advocates for modern, Agile solution delivery practices and promotes end-to-end design, engineering, and organizational practices. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include significant contributions to defining the payments product roadmap within Enterprise Payments and managing the product backlog. The candidate will work closely with senior business managers, stakeholders, and Global functional heads to establish, implement, and adopt evolving product development standards and processes. The role requires managing the expectations and demands of a multi-faceted business and multiple stakeholders while delivering improved product, business analysis, and design services across various Enterprise Payment functions. The Project Manager will be accountable for product backlog management, prioritizing technical debt, regulatory needs, business enablement, and supporting audits. Additionally, the candidate will lead cross-functional teams of technologists and business analysts focused on Deliverable Decomposition Design review. This leadership role necessitates close collaboration with functional leads and business leads across the payments lifecycle from inception to clearing. The Project Manager will document high-level designs (HLD) and functional requirements using Agile SAF requirement hierarchies (deliverable, epic, story) and ensure that execution delivery aligns with product strategy. Creating an inclusive and healthy working environment and resolving organizational impediments/blockers are also key responsibilities. The candidate should have experience leading large-scale program and project efforts, planning and directing routines and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and collaboration. The ability to analyze and decompose business requirements and propose various solutions is essential, along with tech management experience in a technical environment. The role requires liaising with senior stakeholders and strong problem-solving and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative environment. The candidate should be flexible, a self-starter, and a fast learner, willing to quickly learn new products, technologies, and skills. Financial services experience with exposure to regulatory requirements within the Payments space is preferred, along with 5+ years of overall experience in organization/program/product management. Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Payments (RTP, Wire Transfers, ACH) is desirable, as is experience managing real-time processing implementations and delivering solutions using API, Kafka, Mainframe, and Database. Experience with enhancing and maintaining critical software in a fast-paced environment is a plus, as is knowledge of operations processes supporting Enterprise Payment execution.
