This position is responsible for executing functional and non-functional testing; assisting in creating standardized test plans and estimating costs of testing efforts. You will conduct impact analysis of new functionality and develop estimates for testing efforts. Additionally, you will assist in the creation and management of testing project plans. Your role will involve executing various systems, integration, regression, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedules. You will ensure the creation of weekly testing dashboards and report on test preparation and execution status. It is crucial to raise issues and risks to the testing timeline, such as deliverable hand-off delays and environment readiness issues. You will also manage defect reports for issues found during testing and provide accurate testing status to project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Execute functional and non-functional testing.
  • Assist in creating standardized test plans and estimating costs of testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree and 2 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 years Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
  • Knowledge of technologies testing.
  • Knowledge of application and infrastructure integration.
  • Knowledge of SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development.
  • Knowledge of code versioning / code merge.
  • Knowledge of Iterative / Agile / Scrum development.
  • Knowledge of performance center.
  • Ability to tie together solutions across systems.
  • Ability to execute.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
