About the position

The IT QEA Project Manager - Medicare at Cognizant is responsible for strategizing and defining the financial neutrality claims testing process for a strategic program involving Medicare business. This role requires a strong background in project management, quality engineering, and assurance, particularly within the healthcare domain. The position emphasizes collaboration with business and development teams to ensure effective testing and claims processing.

Responsibilities

• Project Management for the overall claims processing - Intake, Adjudication, finance reporting & validation
• Participate in business reviews and develop an elaborate Test Strategy
• Collaborate with Business and Development teams
• Define detailed level Test Plan with the scope, Data Strategy, Iterations of testing cycles
• Conduct and oversee the System, Integration and Regression testing within QA teams
• Claims processing in the claims engine - Health Rules Payor (HRP) application
• Bulk claim processing in HRP platform to ensure Financial Neutrality between platforms
• Identify gaps in the current testing process and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Overall 14+ years of experience working on Quality Engineering & Assurance
• Agile, Healthcare Domain & Medicare experience - 7+ years
• Excellent knowledge on Claims Process, EDI, Health rules payor (HRP) - 7+ years
• Hands-on experience with creating & executing complex SQL queries
• Experience with Test management tools especially IBM products like RTC, RQM and Rally
• Automation experience with Selenium, good to have RFT and Java based experience
