About the position

Vohra Wound Physicians is a dynamic and innovative physician management group with cutting-edge proprietary systems. The company is currently looking for a highly technical and detailed Quality Assurance Analyst with excellent communication skills to test internal and external applications across several projects. This is a fast-paced, results-oriented, and team-centric environment and is a great opportunity to work with a solid group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance, particularly in the healthcare sector, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing and analysis. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be tasked with executing test cases, both manual and automated, and analyzing the results to ensure that applications meet the required standards. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product management, and technical support to document defects and errors, create detailed test plans, and maintain a library of testing documentation. Your role will also involve regular performance and regression testing as part of the release plan, ensuring that all software updates and new features are thoroughly vetted before deployment. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, as well as the capacity to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care provided to patients, as Vohra Wound Physicians is committed to improving patient outcomes and reducing hospitalizations through effective wound management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Create and update full detail-oriented test cases/plans that communicate unambiguous testing methodologies and expected behaviors
  • Create the testing environment, including technical configuration, all environmental components, data, automated test scripts, and security
  • Effectively set up and execute testing of desktop and web applications using industry standard tools according to the documented test cases/plans
  • Produce test reports
  • Conduct regular performance and regression testing as part of the release plan
  • Collaborate with Technical Support to document defects and errors with clear detailed descriptions for Development review
  • Lead and maintain a prioritization of known defects with input from Development and Product Management
  • Create, review, and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Organize and maintain library of testing plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience working with/leading onshore and offshore teams
  • Proficiency in SQL using Microsoft SQL Server in a .NET Development environment
  • Prior experience working in a Healthcare/Hospital environment
  • Understanding of QA lifecycle, including knowledge of Agile and Iterative software development
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software
  • Good SQL querying skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
