About the position

The IT Quality Assurance Analyst III is a remote role responsible for performing independent quality checks and developing methods to measure the quality and performance of functional testing processes. This position coordinates testing and evaluation activities to identify issues, trends, and gaps in existing programs, providing independent assessments and feedback to management. The analyst creates the Quality Assurance testing strategy and documentation, collaborates with project teams to develop project test plans, and ensures coordination across multiple groups. Additionally, the role involves mentoring less experienced teammates and leading testing meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Writes test cases based on requirements and user stories and performs manual testing as needed.
  • Creates testing plans and test cases and loads them into the appropriate tools.
  • Participates in defect meetings and presents analysis on current and re-tested defects.
  • Sources, compiles, and interprets data for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contributes to risk mitigation by thoroughly testing existing programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists in leading the Quality Assurance testing teams by creating test plans and developing testing timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Financial Services organization.
  • American Society for Quality certification(s) required.
