Responsibilities

  • Coordinate testing activities and manage the QA team.
  • Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct morning stand-up meetings to align team efforts.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of various tests.
  • Track and prioritize bugs and attend project meetings to stay updated on timelines and requirements.
  • Analyze testing data and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results for IT systems and software applications.
  • Lead a team of QA professionals, offering mentorship and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and compliance teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT quality assurance, with an emphasis on clinical or regulated industries.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards, including GxP, HIPAA, and FDA guidelines.
  • Proven expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead QA teams and effectively manage cross-functional collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with validation and verification processes for clinical IT systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and root cause analyses.
  • Familiarity with clinical industry software and quality documentation requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present quality metrics to stakeholders.
