About the position

The IT Refresh Technician - Level 2 is responsible for performing PC Refresh activities for end-user computing equipment and peripheral devices at customer locations. This role involves providing technical support, resolving incidents, and ensuring the deployment of new IT equipment while adhering to customer-defined practices and policies. The technician will work onsite during local business hours, Monday through Friday, and may act as a liaison between customers and various departments to complete refresh tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite physical hands & feet technical support to clients to meet specified SLAs.
  • Resolve incidents and problems associated with end-user computing devices such as laptops.
  • Provide imaging services and deployment of new IT equipment.
  • Perform reactive troubleshooting to identify potential incidents or problems and attempt to eliminate them.
  • Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non-warranty assets for end users.
  • Provide warranty and break/fix support for networked printers and scanners.
  • Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms.
  • Provide on-site hardware support for troubleshooting end-user computing technologies.
  • Utilize ITSM tools and other client systems to track and report on end-user issues and requests.
  • Coordinate with other technical and non-technical teams as needed to resolve end-user issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of related work experience.
  • Imaging experience required, including SCCM, MDM, and other platforms.
  • Sound knowledge of data backup and recovery tools.
  • Experience installing, upgrading, migrating, and deploying Windows 10/11 in large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to configure hardware, software, network connectivity, and mobile devices.
  • A+ Certification is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Help desk experience (1 year preferred).
  • Experience with Windows (1 year preferred).
