About the position

The IT Risk Manager at Oxford Bank is responsible for providing technical and relationship support in technology, risk, and vendor management. This strategic role involves collaboration with internal executives, regulatory examiners, and third-party vendors to develop, implement, and audit policies and procedures related to risk and vendor management. The position also oversees the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) implementation and management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors.
  • Oversee the IT team members.
  • Manage Oxford Bank's vendor management program, including risk assessments and due diligence documentation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendor relationships.
  • Plan and drive business reviews with vendors.
  • Monitor contract SLAs/KPIs and ensure credits are applied for violations.
  • Manage escalations and develop contingency plans.
  • Oversee demand planning and manage the company's fiscal budget.
  • Assist in the Procurement lifecycle including sourcing and negotiations.
  • Create and manage audit vendor management policies and procedures.
  • Develop and lead a vendor management roadmap strategy.
  • Lead projects related to technology and solution enhancements.
  • Analyze business needs and implement strategic processes and procedures.
  • Write and edit risk management policies.
  • Manage incident response and change management logs.
  • Troubleshoot technology issues and collaborate with vendors.
  • Manage the Business Continuity Plan and execute annual testing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years' experience in managing a team.
  • Experience performing in-depth technical IT risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to set priorities and execute to those priorities.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while meeting scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with software release management, analysis, and testing.
  • Prior experience in financial and operational internal audits.
