About the position

The IT SAP- Production Planning Lead will play a crucial role in defining, evaluating, and optimizing business processes within the SAP framework, specifically focusing on production planning and plant maintenance. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to document requirements, manage SAP projects, provide user support, and ensure effective implementation of SAP functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Work with user community/business process owners to understand and help document new requirements.
• Assist in all aspects of Project Management and take on SAP projects independently.
• Collaborate with a diverse and integrated team consisting of application developers, technical business users, and business analysts.
• Consult departments regarding SAP ERP modules PP and PM.
• Analyze customer's business processes and SAP solution design.
• Provide SAP support and address production issues.
• Configure SAP (customizing) for assigned functional area.
• Offer end-user support in the areas of PP and PM.
• Update documentation for existing and new SAP Applications.
• Conduct SAP system testing and documentation to support change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on relevant SAP-ERP system experience, preferably in modules PP, PM, or LE.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience within an international (complex) industrial group is beneficial.
• Forward-thinking and target-oriented behavior.
