Lincoln National Corporation is seeking an IT Security-Access Validation Analyst to facilitate and modernize the overall process of access management to Lincoln systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs. This role is crucial in managing Lincoln's responses to new and additional validation requests from auditors and management, ensuring the proper day-to-day operation of Access Validation and Security Compliance. The analyst will partner with IT owners to determine access requirements for Lincoln applications, source code tools, and database management systems, as well as privileged access to various computing platforms. The responsibilities include gathering access requirement information to formulate access listings for applications, source code tools, and database management systems, as well as privileged access to various computing platforms. The analyst will respond to, diagnose, and resolve problems during the access validation process, which includes routine problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution. Coordination of access revocation requests with Information Security and/or business areas is also a key responsibility. Providing customer service to internal customers, recognizing their needs, and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness is essential. The analyst will communicate access validation requirements and processes, respond to questions from Lincoln business, IT partners, and management, and provide support and solutions to managers during the validation process. Accurate documentation is vital, and the analyst will record pertinent information for all validation processes to ensure the documentation tracker is consistently current. Determining the priority and scope of each request to balance workload is necessary, as is reporting the status of work efforts to Information Security management and other business stakeholders while meeting agreed-upon timeframes. The analyst will also provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external parties, interfacing with internal and external auditors to respond to requests with information or documentation and provide walkthroughs of processes.
