About the position

The IT Security Analyst I is responsible for the daily monitoring and maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. This role involves responding to alerts generated by the DLP systems and collaborating with various cybersecurity teams and business units to ensure effective DLP operations and response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems and other technologies.
• Work with cybersecurity partners and lines of business to remediate events.
• Collect DLP related metrics and present them to business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Event Handling experience.
• Incident Response or Event Management experience.
• Technical experience with DLP solutions, such as Symantec DLP, McAfee DLP, or Proofpoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience drafting DLP policy, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Experience and understanding of DLP and how it relates to Cloud Technologies.
• Understanding of data classification tools, such as Titus, Bolden James, or Varonis.
