About the position

The Senior Security Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in transforming Voya's enterprise infrastructure into a secure, agile, and trusted computing platform. This position focuses on the design, implementation, and support of web security platforms and toolsets essential for protecting the financial future of Voya's customers. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the integration and operational support of security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design requirements for supported platforms.
• Configure systems to enable value to the enterprise.
• Oversee day-to-day operational support responsibilities.
• Integrate technical tools with other platforms.
• Adopt technical tools deeper into the enterprise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an enterprise-level IT environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in monitoring, developing, and implementing information security systems.
• Experience with IBM Security Verified Access Manager/WebSeal and MFA implementations.
• Strong scripting skills in XSLT, Javascript, and Bash; familiarity with Perl and Python preferred.
• Knowledge of WS-* standards and ability to troubleshoot encryption (SSL/TLS), web traffic, and packet analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Ping Federate and IBM Datapower.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Windows/VMWare.
