About the position

The IT Security & Data Architect at Amy's Kitchen plays a crucial role in managing and safeguarding the company's data, systems, and processes. This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of strategic and technical roadmaps, programs, and solutions, while collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with regulations and standards in the food manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain strategic roadmaps for Information Security and Data Management areas.
  • Advise leadership and project teams on security and governance topics.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to scope and execute projects and recommend security controls.
  • Develop and operate the Information Security Program and related policies.
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities and risks to enterprise systems and data.
  • Plan, design, implement, and supervise regular audits and penetration testing.
  • Track and manage assessment findings and develop solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Gather and analyze performance and compliance data related to information security standards.
  • Define and enforce operational directives to protect manufacturing systems and data.
  • Discover, classify, and analyze enterprise data across systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement policies for data governance and application integrations.
  • Lead the engineering and maintenance of systems supporting security and data management goals.
  • Create procedures for operational teams and manage relationships with third-party services.
  • Stay informed on emerging security technologies and propose their integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant technology areas.
  • Deep understanding of Information Technology concepts and security-related principles.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, and cloud security solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.
