About the position

The Senior IT Security Engineer will lead a small team in addressing and resolving security vulnerabilities using Agile methodology. This hands-on role requires a strong background in cyber security, particularly in vulnerability management, and involves reviewing, analyzing, and fixing security issues. The position is based on-site in Little Rock, AR, and candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of security engineers in addressing security vulnerabilities.
• Review and analyze a backlog of security vulnerabilities.
• Fix, update, and patch security issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve software and hardware issues.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in cyber security, preferably with a focus on vulnerability management.
• Strong background in IT covering both software and hardware issues.
• Experience leading projects using Agile methodology.
