The IT Security Project Coordinator at Doyon Government Group is a pivotal role designed for a highly motivated and organized individual who will assist in various administrative and project management tasks. This position is essential for ensuring the efficient and timely completion of IT security projects while maintaining effective communication across teams. The coordinator will manage assigned IT security projects, coordinating project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices is a critical aspect of this role, as is tracking and reporting on project progress, addressing any issues or risks promptly. In addition to project management, the coordinator will provide administrative support and help coordinate project activities. This includes interacting with members of the Security Team and Engineering teams to facilitate project and business needs, as well as participating in project update meetings as required. The role also involves assisting in drafting and reviewing Statements of Work (SOW) for various projects, ensuring that all SOWs are comprehensive and accurately reflect project scope, timelines, and deliverables. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Security and Cloud Architecture to ensure deadlines are met and will assist in updating project pricing spreadsheets and maintaining accurate pricing information. The IT Security Project Coordinator will also analyze business processes to identify key areas for improvement and enhance efficiencies across organizational teams. This includes analyzing data to derive insights that can inform business decisions and strategies. Effective communication is crucial, as the coordinator will maintain communication between client teams and internal departments, relaying necessary information to the Director of Security and Cloud Architecture and other relevant stakeholders. The role may also involve liaising with various client teams to better understand their security needs and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement initiatives across diverse business and organizational teams.
