The IT Security Project Coordinator at Doyon Government Group is a pivotal role designed for a highly motivated and organized individual who will assist in various administrative and project management tasks. This position is essential for ensuring the efficient and timely completion of IT security projects while maintaining effective communication across teams. The coordinator will manage assigned IT security projects, coordinating project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices is a critical aspect of this role, as is the ability to track and report on project progress, addressing any issues or risks promptly. In addition to project management, the coordinator will assist in drafting and reviewing Statements of Work (SOW) for various projects, ensuring that all SOWs are comprehensive and accurately reflect project scope, timelines, and deliverables. This includes creating project forecasts and entering opportunities in the organization's PSA/CRM software, as well as maintaining accurate pricing information and ensuring data integrity. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Security and Cloud Architecture to ensure that deadlines are met and that all project documentation is consistent and up to date. The role also involves analyzing business processes to identify key areas for improvement and enhance efficiencies across organizational teams. The coordinator will analyze data to derive insights that can inform business decisions and strategies, maintaining effective communication between client teams and internal departments. This position requires a liaison role with various client teams to better understand their security needs and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse group of business and organizational teams.
