About the position

The IT Security Specialist at Focussoft Tech Inc is responsible for ensuring the security of the organization's information systems and data. This role involves managing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security measures across various platforms, including cloud computing and DevOps environments. The specialist will work with a range of security tools and frameworks to protect the organization's assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency with security scanning and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Checkmarx, and AutoRabit CodeScan.
• Administer security controls and management for cloud computing platforms, particularly Salesforce.
• Utilize DevOps platforms including Azure DevOps and Copado for security integration.
• Implement and manage security frameworks and standards like OWASP Top10, SANS 25, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Employ web application security tools such as F5 Web Application Firewall and Cloudflare.
• Utilize SIEM/SOAR tools like Chronicle and Splunk for security monitoring and incident response.
• Integrate security measures with platforms like ServiceNow, MuleSoft, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Develop and maintain scripts using languages such as Python and PowerShell to automate security tasks.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in IT security or related field.
• Proficiency with Azure and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, OWASP, etc.).
• Familiarity with security scanning and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python and .NET.
• Experience with CrowdStrike and other cybersecurity platforms.
• Knowledge of load balancing and firewall management.
