About The Position
The IT Security Specialist III position is a critical role within the NOAA NWS OBS located in Silver Spring, Maryland. This ongoing position requires a U.S. Citizen and offers a hybrid work environment, with three days per week on-site. The salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $98,000, and it comes with full benefits under a W2 employment structure. The primary responsibility of the IT Security Specialist is to analyze information security systems and applications, recommending and developing security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access or loss.
