About the position

The IT Senior Audit Manager at DTCC plays a crucial role in leading audit projects and managing audit teams. This position is responsible for identifying and assessing risks, ensuring compliance with policies, and mentoring junior team members. The role emphasizes collaboration, strategic control impact, and effective communication with senior management, while also focusing on personal and professional development within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify meaningful issues and assess their impact on controls and risks.
• Manage relationships with senior management and business partners.
• Lead all phases of complex audits and ensure timely completion of the annual audit plan.
• Prepare well-written audit reports with minimal edits required from senior management.
• Demonstrate compliance with policies and improve audit practices.
• Inspire and develop team performance through coaching and guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in auditing or IT risk management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are beneficial but not required.
• Proficiency in auditing IT general controls and processes.
• Deep understanding of audit methodologies and compliance regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with auditing infrastructure components like Mainframe, Unix/Linux, and Windows.
• Ability to identify and advise on risks for large-scale technology projects.
