As the IT Onboarding/Offboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and streamlining the onboarding and offboarding processes within the BCG Federal environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that staff transition smoothly into and out of the Federal environment, maintaining efficient processes and transparency with the relevant business functions throughout the process. You will participate in team kickoff meetings for new contracts, gathering essential information required to support the project. Your responsibilities will include tracking consultant staffing to Federal cases and coordinating with other business functions to ensure timely submission of necessary paperwork, software licenses, access, and equipment. You will also ensure that necessary onboarding orientations are scheduled with relevant teams and conduct IT onboarding orientations. In terms of offboarding, you will monitor staff roll-offs from Federal projects, ensuring prompt deactivation of accounts and licenses, and retrieval of equipment. Proper archiving of SharePoint documents when projects close will also be part of your duties. You will develop and maintain tracking systems for onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring visibility and accountability across teams. Regular reports to management on the status of onboarding and offboarding activities, including any issues, gaps, or delays, will be required. Additionally, you will maintain a living document of active projects and case team rosters, as well as an Asset Manager by tracking and updating records of deployed laptops, including assignments, serial numbers, and status changes. Supporting the IT Service Desk team will also be part of your role, which includes laptop builds and maintenance, and end-user troubleshooting. You will support the IT System Administrator with routine tasks related to O365, Azure AD, Intune, and SharePoint Online. This position requires excellent coordination and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Providing high-quality service and support to staff throughout the onboarding/offboarding process is essential, along with a self-starting attitude and professionalism.
