About the position

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing multiple complex IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines. This role requires a strategic mindset to navigate challenges and deliver exceptional results on time and within budget, while fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams and mentoring junior project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple complex IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget while identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to drive project success and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, assign tasks, and track progress using project management software and tools.
  • Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders, including regular status updates, reporting, and escalations when necessary.
  • Provide leadership in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and cost while minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and implement process improvements to optimize project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Support the organization's strategic initiatives by delivering IT projects that enhance operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business, engineering, or a technology-related field and 7+ years of experience managing technology and business-related projects.
  • 2+ years post high school education or applicable training in a technology-related field and 11+ years of experience managing technology and business-related projects.
