About the position

The IT Service Advisor/Content Strategist/UX Writer is a remote, W-2 position focused on developing and implementing a comprehensive content and communication strategy for various projects. The role requires creating user-friendly content across multiple channels while ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives. The position emphasizes collaboration with technology teams to deliver high-quality communication and innovative workflow solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content and communication strategy for assigned projects.
• Create content through multiple communication channels while maintaining core messaging that is consistent and concise.
• Generate innovative ideas for workflow solutions (e.g., internal tools).
• Ensure high-quality communication delivery for multiple concurrent projects or programs within Technology teams.
• Act as a team advocate, setting direction for best communication practices outside of the core team.
• Support efforts to develop standard practices and guidelines for communication components.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in communications, with a focus on technical or user experience (UX) content being a plus.
• A bachelor's degree in communications is preferred.
• Clear, concise, and engaging writing skills.
• Ability to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points to create user-friendly content.
• Experience writing text/copy for collaboration tools, web experiences, and/or products.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across project and program teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with content creation for emails, training documentation, video scripts, tool/website interface verbiage, product descriptions, newsletters, and articles.
• Ability to learn new technologies and technical products to support content creation.
