About the position

The IT Service Coordinator at Outsource Solutions Group, Inc. is responsible for managing service requests from clients, analyzing issues related to hardware, software, or network problems, and scheduling appropriate technicians to address these requests. The role involves effective communication with clients and technicians, ensuring timely service delivery, and generating reports for management review. The coordinator is also tasked with identifying opportunities to enhance scheduling efficiency and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze service requests from various sources (Email/Phone/Alert Monitor).
• Schedule service requests to the appropriate technician based on the issue type.
• Communicate service request details to technicians and clients via various channels.
• Ensure accurate time entry and effective resource scheduling.
• Contact technicians for updates on aging service requests and determine appropriate actions.
• Generate periodic and ad hoc reports for the Director of Field Engineering.
• Review service tickets for accurate status and scheduling.
• Confirm appointments for on-site and remote service.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 2-year college degree or equivalent coursework.
• IT/Technical background is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• Insurable driving record and current driver license with proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to work eight hours per day sitting, using a keyboard, and speaking on the phone.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and carry.
