About the position

The IT Service Desk Analyst at Master Electronics is a front-line support role responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues for end-users. This position involves managing ticket queues, providing support through various communication channels, and collaborating with internal teams to address complex problems. The analyst will also assist with equipment setup and maintenance, ensuring that tech documentation is current and that new hires have the necessary access to systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ticket queues: prioritize, document, and resolve issues quickly
  • Provide end-user support through chat, phone, or in person
  • Collaborate with IS teams to solve complex problems
  • Set up and maintain equipment like computers, printers, and scanners
  • Keep up-to-date on software and system updates
  • Support new hires with access and manage access changes
  • Help ensure our tech documentation stays current

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, accredited technical school training, or equivalent experience in desktop or application support
  • Experience with ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 processes
  • Skilled in providing technical support to remote, geographically dispersed users
  • Familiarity with Windows hardware/software and Office 365 environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution
