About the position

The IT Service Desk Analyst at Ernest Health is responsible for providing support to hospital staff, employees, vendors, and other supporting personnel. This remote position focuses on problem identification, issue documentation, and communication to resolve IT hardware and application issues. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and effective communication skills, serving as the primary point of contact for tier one issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Ernest Service Desk function to provide assistance to customers including hospital staff, employees, and vendors.
  • Identify problems and document issues for resolution.
  • Communicate with customers and IT support staff to resolve IT hardware and application issues.
  • Handle user and hardware requests to fulfill staff requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for documentation and resolution of tier one issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Prior Help Desk/Service Desk Support experience required.
  • Windows Laptop or Desktop support experience required.
  • Windows based printer installation/troubleshooting experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Active Directory accounts preferred.
  • Service Desk + or Help Desk Certificate preferred.
