The IT Service Desk Technician is responsible for responding to technical inquiries within the organization by identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving related issues. This role is crucial in ensuring that all technological systems function smoothly and efficiently, allowing the organization to maintain its focus on renewable energy projects. As an IT Service Desk Technician, you will provide timely, knowledgeable assistance for technical inquiries, both on-premise and remotely. You will troubleshoot system failures, debug and repair issues, and analyze technical grievances to provide suitable solutions or restore required functionality. Your responsibilities will also include the staging, deployment, and reclamation of various technological equipment such as workstations, routers, and printers. You will maintain and repair technological equipment and peripheral devices, including software and driver configuration, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and functioning properly. In addition to technical support, you will provide end-user orientation and guidance for the operation of new software and computer equipment. You will organize and schedule routine maintenance and upgrades, working closely with end-user timelines to minimize disruption. You will also assist with IT special projects, including upgrades, deployment, demobilization, server/network component management, and process improvements. The role may require responding to emergency situations after hours on a rotational basis, ensuring that the organization is supported at all times.
