About the position

Intratek Computer, Inc., an established computer service and support firm, is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This position is primarily focused on providing Tier 1 technical support remotely, with the first two weeks of training conducted onsite. The role involves assisting end users from various departments with their technical inquiries, particularly regarding department-specific applications and Office 365 support. As a Level 1 Service Desk Support Analyst, you will be responsible for accurately recording incidents and resolutions in the Cherwell ticketing system, ensuring that all interactions are documented effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong customer service orientation, with expertise in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. You will be expected to handle phone support efficiently, providing timely assistance to users while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This role requires self-discipline and adaptability, as you will be working in a dynamic environment where multitasking and following Knowledge Base articles are essential. Responsibilities

  • Answering phones to assist end users with technical inquiries.
  • Providing Tier 1 technical support via phone for various departments.

Requirements

  • Experience in a remote technical call center environment.
