About the position

The IT Service Technician position at Computer Enterprises Inc. is a long-term contract role focused on supporting a leading Electronics Manufacturing client in the Cyber Security space. The technician will be responsible for staging and configuring various IT equipment and ensuring smooth operations in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Stage and configure servers, switches, and firewalls for field deployments.
• Program and debug scripts to enhance staging operations.
• Configure, test, and ship sophisticated telecommunication equipment.
• Set up and configure Windows computers, servers, and networking devices.
• Develop working relationships with the team and Development Organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Networking Equipment - Cisco and HP is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting and basic debugging of automation scripts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently; must be able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours or more.
