About the position

The IT Software Developer III position at Kforce involves collaborating with architects and tech leads to design and enhance features of existing applications. The role focuses on optimizing code for performance, participating in code reviews, and supporting production issues across a portfolio of approximately 30 applications. The developer will also be responsible for creating and deploying effective websites, applications, and back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Working with architects/tech leads and other stakeholders to design new features or refactor existing ones on the existing application portfolio
• Optimizing existing codebases for performance and maintainability
• Participating in code reviews and helping junior team members grow
• Providing support for production issues, when necessary, also maintaining the application portfolio (~30 applications)
• Proactive participation in troubleshooting if needed
• Developing and deploying effective websites, apps, back-end services and applications

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working with ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
• Experience with MVC and Web API
• Experience using Angular Framework building SPAs
• Solid understanding of IAM (Auth0, OAuth2)
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies
• Basic understanding of CICD concept, delivery pipelines
• Familiarity with object-oriented design and development concepts
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
