About the position

As an IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst III for Enterprise Projects at APS, you will play a crucial role in managing and securing our hybrid Exchange/Messaging environment, which encompasses both on-premises and cloud-based systems. Your expertise in Exchange and messaging systems will be vital in ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across these platforms. You will be responsible for overseeing the administration of our hybrid Exchange environment, implementing and managing domain protection strategies to enhance email security, and utilizing eDiscovery tools for legal compliance. Your advanced troubleshooting skills will be essential in resolving complex messaging infrastructure issues, ensuring the reliability of our systems, and driving the delivery and performance of software and hardware products from design completion to volume production release. In this role, you will engage with various stakeholders to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products. You will analyze and assist in creating reusable and enterprise-level modules/applications, conduct performance reviews, and recommend improvements to existing codes. Additionally, you will be responsible for training users in the conversion and implementation of systems, conducting integration system testing and evaluations, and leading the design, development, and implementation of new solutions. Your ability to balance and prioritize multiple work streams while collaborating with colleagues across diverse fields will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of the hybrid Exchange environment, ensuring seamless integration and performance across on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Implement and manage domain protection strategies, including DMARC, DKIM, and SPF, to enhance email security.
• Utilize eDiscovery tools for legal compliance and manage quarantined messages to ensure email hygiene.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex messaging infrastructure issues and ensure the reliability of systems.
• Drive the delivery and performance of software and hardware products, from design completion to volume production release, and manage the lifecycle of these products.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
• Analyze and assist with creating reusable and enterprise-level modules/applications.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend improvements to existing codes.
• Review and recommend equipment, resources, and software.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
• Train users in conversion and implementation of systems.
• Conduct integration system testing and evaluations.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Five (5) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
• Strong technical knowledge within a job area or system and basic knowledge across related technical areas.
• Proficient with Exchange Server and experienced in managing hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of messaging infrastructure and security protocols.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve software and system problems.
• Experience with domain protection strategies and email security practices.
