About the position

The IT Solutions Engineer at Dowbuilt plays a crucial role in maintaining and developing IT engineering solutions and operational systems for a high-end residential construction company. This position involves supporting existing applications, developing new workflows, and managing SaaS applications while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. The engineer will also handle incident response and provide help desk support, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of the company's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for punctual attendance in meetings and proactive communication of strategic directives.
  • Support existing application assets, workflows, and automations.
  • Develop and support the in-house Python codebase.
  • Partner with other departments to optimize and develop new business workflows and data connections.
  • Manage and support one or more Dowbuilt SaaS applications.
  • Provide end-user help desk support for local and remote employees.
  • Resolve complex SaaS application issues by analyzing user requests and diagnosing problems.
  • Manage cyber security incidents in accordance with internal protocols.
  • Serve as lead admin for Dowbuilt's SaaS applications and support end users in resolving complex requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (3 years in IT position).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Proficiency with Power Query Editor and PowerBI.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Python coding and familiarity with API integration.
  • Experience with applications such as Smartsheet, Egnyte, and Slack is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Customer service mindset and collaborative approach.
