About the position

Speedcast Communications is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Program Manager to oversee multiple IT projects, including Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Applications. The role involves defining project deliverables, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a proven ability to analyze complex business problems and drive operational efficiencies through technology.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of departmental technology projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within timeframes and budgets.
• Coordinate activities across IT and business unit resources.
• Work with IT leaders to forecast resource requirements.
• Respond to requests for changes from original specifications.
• Ensure compliance with IT project governance and maintain required documentation.
• Manage project issues and risks, escalating when necessary.
• Lead project status review meetings with stakeholders.
• Participate in project design sessions to provide input on solutions and architecture.
• Develop and support PMO processes and tools for managing the project portfolio.
• Prepare and present status reports using KPI metrics to senior management and end-users.
• Work with Business Units to translate needs into system requirements and design specifications.
• Manage project budgets and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is a plus.
• Project Management Certification (PMP).
• 5-7 years of Project Management experience, including expertise in program management methodology and tools.
• Experience in conceptualizing creative solutions using digital solutions and integrations.
• Experience as a liaison between IT and functional business groups.
• Strong analysis, design, and implementation experience across infrastructure and application disciplines.
• Critical thinking and strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
