Responsibilities

  • Act as Key Operator Account Manager for the Key Management Infrastructure System.
  • Understand and apply Cyber Security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to communication security.
  • Ensure daily maintenance, reviews, and backups of Key Management Infrastructure systems.
  • Recommend changes to the design or monitoring of devices to enhance security of classified information systems.
  • Conduct, control, coordinate, monitor, and review Communication Security procedures and operations.
  • Support Communication Security Account Managers and troubleshoot operational or procedural issues.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required to apply for this position.
  • Must have IT-related experience demonstrating attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, including knowledge of Cyber Security policies and procedures, cryptographic security measures, and communication security devices.

  • Knowledge of emissions security, transmission security, and physical security of communication security aids.
