About the position

The Senior IT Specialist will provide comprehensive IT support for the US Marine Corps in Kansas City, MO, focusing on field services, end-user support, and enterprise network management. This role requires leadership skills to mentor junior IT staff and manage complex IT support issues within a critical Department of Defense network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and act as the escalation point for a team of Junior IT resources.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network devices, and peripherals.
• Manage and delegate IT support tickets in the Remedy queue to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
• Act as the Tier 2/3 escalation point for IT support tickets and customer requests.

Requirements

• 9+ years of IT experience
• Bachelor's Degree in IT related field
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with tier 2 and tier 3 IT support
• Experience with Remedy, Active Directory, and ServiceNow
• IAT Level II (CCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS)
• Additional required certifications: MTA, MCSA
