Responsibilities

• Review project requirements to determine objectives and processes.
• Maintain problem tracking and resolution databases.
• Research and evaluate trends in customer support requirements.
• Provide customer service via in-person, telephone, and email.
• Offer technical assistance to minimize disruptions in computer operations.
• Use network interfacing software to identify faults in the operational network.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating system components.
• Provide IT desktop hardware and software support.
• Adapt, configure, and test computer software and hardware for operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service.
• Experience in IT systems testing and evaluation principles.
• Ability to support projects by identifying or defining requirements for IT systems and networks.
• Experience ensuring software applications meet technical and functional requirements.
