About the position

The IT Specialist position at JPATS involves managing a comprehensive range of IT-related services, operations, and projects. The role requires providing expert IT advice to leadership, ensuring compliance with IT regulations, and leading various IT projects. The specialist will act as a business relationship manager, coordinating project requirements and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of IT-related service delivery, operations, and projects for JPATS.
• Provide expert IT advice to JPATS leadership and ensure compliance with IT-related guidance.
• Apply knowledge of IT compliance requirements, including federal regulations and departmental guidelines.
• Lead IT projects and services through the IT change control process for JPATS.
• Serve as the business relationship manager and representative for JPATS, coordinating project requirements and service operations.

Requirements

• Must have IT-related experience demonstrating technology awareness, customer service, oral communication, writing, and project management competencies.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, including planning and coordinating IT services, participating in IT teams, and advising leadership on IT concerns.
