About the position

The Senior Product Manager at CommonSpirit Health is responsible for providing application technology expertise and direction in the development and implementation of complex, enterprise-wide projects. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the delivery of functional applications that meet business objectives. The Senior Product Manager acts as a subject matter expert, collaborates with stakeholders, and drives continuous process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver or lead the design, development, support, and maintenance of functional applications and information support processes.
  • Manage high complexity project assignments including application design and configuration build.
  • Interact with the customer user community to secure business requirements and translate technical requirements.
  • Develop or lead test plan development for new application functionality from a technical perspective.
  • Lead resolution of high complexity issues requiring technical expertise and engage in problem management activities.
  • Complete tasks and documentation within committed timeframes and communicate effectively across teams and management levels.
  • Lead technical analysis discussions and assist with conducting review sessions for approvals.
  • Maintain knowledge management artifacts and lead transition to operations functions post-implementation.
  • Receive training on applications during the implementation of new solutions, upgrades, and fixes.
  • Lead Product Release management functions including developing test plans and facilitating end user acceptance testing.
  • Develop overall project task lists, estimates, and resource plans for complex solutions.
  • Interact daily with the user community and collaborate with multiple stakeholders on problem management and project delivery.
  • Provide guidance, training, and problem-solving assistance to team members and operational support teams.
  • Lead continuous process improvement activities to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Involved in the development of service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor deviations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, Business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • 10+ years of experience working in IT as an Application Systems Analyst or Technical Analyst role.
  • Excellent writing/documentation and communication skills.
  • Fast learner, quality-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies required.
  • 6 or more years of application support, implementation, or development experience in a hospital or medical-related industry is required.
  • Expert level understanding of leading business and technology partners through deployment and implementation life cycles.
  • Advanced understanding of technology projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives.
