About the position

The IT Sr. Solutions Engineer at CertainTeed / Saint-Gobain will play a pivotal role in leading the design and configurations of various Information Technology and Salesforce.com development initiatives. This position requires a deep understanding of high-tech innovation force.com technologies, including managed package deployments and configurations across multiple Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. The engineer will also be responsible for managing bi-directional integrations into SAP, ensuring that all vendor relationships are effectively maintained to support the implementations of Sale, Service, and Marketing clouds. As a liaison for the CRM team and other technologies utilized at CertainTeed, this role is crucial for supporting all business units and collaborating with stakeholders as projects are initiated for Salesforce.com. In this capacity, the IT Sr. Solutions Engineer will direct Salesforce configuration initiatives for various projects and incidents, working independently or alongside peers in the Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to develop strategic road maps aimed at transitioning to future states, particularly in converting process builders and leveraging flows for existing Salesforce instances. The role also involves contributing to the enhancement of business performance through enterprise solutions and capabilities, including Salesforce lightning connect, Salesforce Marketing connect, custom metadata management, and data integration from ERP systems. Additionally, the engineer will oversee and assist team members in force.com configuration activities, which encompass data modeling, data transformation, and the development of Salesforce.com reporting and dashboards within the lightning framework. Providing oversight for all incidents and recommending optimizations for all business units will also be a key responsibility of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and configurations of Salesforce.com development initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to support Sale, Service, and Marketing cloud implementations.
  • Serve as a liaison for the CRM team and other technologies utilized at CertainTeed.
  • Direct Salesforce configuration initiatives for projects and incidents.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop road maps for transitioning to future states in Salesforce.
  • Contribute to improving business performance through enterprise solutions and capabilities.

  • Provide oversight for all incidents and recommend optimizations for business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the required field.
  • 8+ years of information technology experience with significant business exposure on development and configuration activities in force.com.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator + Platform App Builder (Lightning).
  • Required technical skills around force.com architecture and good working knowledge of Sales, Service, and Marketing cloud.
  • Previous experience in Salesforce Sales, Service, and Marketing cloud in lightning framework.
  • Strong team building and problem-solving mentality.
  • Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical business users.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, solution design, development, and deployment of force.com change sets.
