About the position

As an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Contact Government Services (CGS), you will leverage your expertise in application and systems software to support various stakeholders. Your role involves analyzing complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems to define processes and procedures for diverse use cases across departments. You will also assist in the design, development, documentation, and delivery of standard operating procedures and training materials, ensuring effective communication and understanding among a wide range of audiences. This position requires a high level of technical experience and the ability to work collaboratively to drive government innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in application and systems software to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems.
  • Define processes and procedures for use cases across departments.
  • Consult on the design, development, documentation, and delivery of standard operating procedures.
  • Create presentations and training materials for diverse audiences.
  • Assess and redefine procedures and standards using best practices.
  • Enhance understanding of agency systems among stakeholders and system users.
  • Coordinate program goals, requirements, performance analysis, and innovation projects with IT and Business experts.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in IT systems and business ventures.
  • Develop procedures, manuals, and documentation for process and technology needs.
  • Define upgrade or replacement strategies for information systems.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of complex IT systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in OBIEE, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation, data analysis, data migration, data integration, and data mapping.
  • 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile Methodology.
  • Experience with Data Analytics tools (i.e.: ADVANA).
  • Experience with UNIX OS.
  • Experience with Java.
  • Experience with SFTO.
  • Experience with APEX.
