About the position

Stefanini Group is seeking an IT Supply Chain Project Manager to join our team in Dearborn, MI, in a hybrid work environment. This role is pivotal in driving the sourcing of key software initiatives while ensuring compliance with cost and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of best practices and industry trends, particularly in the IT software categories, and will be responsible for negotiating with dedicated providers to achieve optimal contractual conditions while maintaining internal customer satisfaction. The IT Supply Chain Project Manager will support the development of robust Category Strategies that adapt to evolving business needs, ensuring alignment with the overall business unit strategies to maximize leverage and efficiency. In this role, you will be tasked with building strong cross-functional relationships across various internal business units and departments, further aligning on strategic category vision and identifying savings opportunities. You will also drive and support Supply Base optimization and strategic priorities through leveraging enterprise spend. As a progressive thinker, you will seek out innovative ways to drive efficiencies, identify cost savings, and explore spend reduction opportunities, all while being informed about best-in-class practices in the industry. This position requires a collaborative leader who can creatively problem-solve and manage workload with agility to deliver on business-critical objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive on-time sourcing of key software initiatives within cost and regulatory requirements.
  • Align Integrated Services sourcing strategies with other business unit strategies to maximize leverage.
  • Lead sourcing efforts and build strong cross-functional relationships within various internal business units and departments.
  • Support Supply Base optimization and strategic priorities through leveraging enterprise spend.
  • Seek out ways to drive efficiencies, find cost savings, or spend reduction opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of supply chain/commodity/program management experience.
  • Strong communication skills to transition from detailed information to executive-level messaging.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust across organizations to drive decisions and alignment.
  • Strong data and analytics understanding for synthesizing complex data into clear formats.
  • Initiative-taking and resourceful, comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative leader with problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree (or in progress) is preferred but not mandatory.
