About the position

The IT Supply Planning Test Lead at Intel is responsible for driving software quality from concept to delivery, ensuring that software quality requirements are established and met throughout the development phases. This role involves analyzing product quality data, improving customer experience, and collaborating with product development teams to enhance software practices and execution improvements. The position may also involve creating tools and automation for quality evaluation and data analytics, as well as working closely with IT SCP Program Managers to manage risks and testing execution.

Responsibilities

  • Drive software quality from concept to delivery via specific KPIs and quality targets.
  • Work with product development teams to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met.
  • Analyze product quality data and drive improvements through defect prediction models and SWLC optimizations.
  • Improve customer experience with critical issue management and root cause analysis.
  • Work directly with customers to understand requirements and pain points during development and delivery.
  • Create tools and automation to support quality evaluation and data analytics.
  • Perform out of box testing for software products to recreate customer experiences and assess quality.
  • Collaborate with IT SCP Program Managers to raise risks and assist in testing execution.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or similar degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in supply or demand planning.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and systems/business analysis.
  • Experience in solution acceptance testing (SIT/UAT), regression testing, and solution deployment.
  • Oversight in drafting test cases and test deliverables.
  • Documentation and communication of testing process, metrics, results, and defects.
  • Familiarity with software QA methodologies like JIRA and commercial reporting tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Blue Yonder (SCPO or ESP) / JDA / Kinaxis planning systems and S4 / Reporting tools.
  • Experience in the semiconductor/manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with technical/functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with proven collaboration skills.
