About the position

The IT Support Analyst at Summit Medical Group is responsible for providing technical assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software, both in the field and remotely. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, maintaining effective communication with users, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Install hardware components including PCs, printers, monitors, tablets, and networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose IT issues to resolution, both remotely and in the field.
  • Perform all duties of the Help Desk Support staff.
  • Maintain professional competency through research and continuing education programs.
  • Contribute to a positive work climate and overall team effort.
  • Adhere to corporate compliance programs and maintain confidentiality.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of IT-related experience.
  • CompTIA A+ certification (required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
  • Medical office experience (a plus).

Nice-to-haves

  • Other CompTIA or IT certificates.
