About the position

The IT Support Analyst at AUTOKINITON is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users within the organization. This role involves resolving issues related to IT equipment and applications, ensuring timely and effective customer service, and maintaining documentation of support requests. The analyst will work closely with the IT Support Supervisor and will be involved in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical assistance for users in the organization.
  • Responds to inquiries, evaluates, and resolves issues relating to IT equipment and applications.
  • Responsible for technical support of hardware, operating systems, applications, and networks.
  • Fields incoming support requests to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Performs analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex technology issues, recommending and implementing corrective solutions.
  • Records, tracks, and documents requests, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
  • Uses independent judgment to determine which issues need to be escalated.
  • Provides on-site support for multiple locations.
  • Identifies and learns appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • Reinforces SLAs to manage customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the IT field.
  • A+ Certification desired.
  • High level of integrity due to the sensitive nature of responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of the value of excellent customer service and service delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, team building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office software.
