About the position

CORMAC is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide essential technical support to employees and customers. This role is vital to the IT department, requiring a proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow within the organization. The analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT documentation, and ensuring effective communication with end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and Zendesk.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
  • Log and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent communication with end-users.
  • Collaborate with the team to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and configurations.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to IT procedures.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and track their status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS, knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office, VPN, basic networking and security.
  • 1-3 years' experience in technical support or IT support role.
  • Strong passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification are optional but beneficial.
  • Knowledge on AWS Cloud.
