About the position

The IT Support Analyst at Finalis plays a crucial role in providing first-level technical support to end-users, managing company devices, and ensuring seamless IT operations. This position is part of the IT Support Team within the Engineering Department, focusing on enhancing technological excellence and driving business success through proactive IT support. The role involves troubleshooting IT issues, improving processes, and maintaining documentation, all while working in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and secure company devices using MDM solutions.
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT problems using a ticketing system like Jira.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve IT processes and procedures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including internal IT wikis.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for timely maintenance and support of IT systems.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, operating systems, and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing devices and providing support.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and the ability to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Proven ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
