The company is looking to hire a new IT Service Desk Technician based in their West Valley City, Utah office. This position involves supporting internal customers and mobile devices related to IT products and services. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to personal computers and mobile devices across various operating systems including Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Windows. The role requires a basic understanding of networking principles, particularly the TCP/IP protocol suite, and knowledge of DNS, WINS, and DHCP. The IT Support Analyst will coordinate with technical teams to develop best practice solutions and document business processes, configurations, and functional specifications. Effective communication with an extensive IT team is essential, as is the ability to work independently and in a team-driven environment. The position may involve occasional travel to physical locations as needed. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and a solid understanding of security best practices. The role also requires the ability to track work via a ticketing system and troubleshoot PC hardware and software issues.
