About the position

Your Sip Telecom is seeking a Level 2 IT Support and Solutions Technician to provide comprehensive managed IT services and IP Telephony solutions to small business clients in the Tampa/St. Petersburg metro area. This role involves both on-site and remote user support, managing and implementing a variety of modern IT solutions, and ensuring seamless integration to meet diverse client needs. The technician will work in a dynamic environment, expanding their technical expertise while addressing client challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site user support for clients.
  • Support and install PCs and Windows Servers.
  • Manage and support IP Telephony systems, including PBX servers and endpoint phones.
  • Install and troubleshoot network systems, including firewalls.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Email, SharePoint, and Intune.
  • Monitor and manage computing devices remotely.
  • Implement data backup and recovery solutions.
  • Manage security for endpoints, firewalls, and cloud services.
  • Support Azure Virtual Desktop and other cloud computing solutions.
  • Create, resolve, escalate, and document support tickets efficiently.
  • Conduct onsite visits to client locations for support and service.
  • Provide end-user training for products and solutions.
  • Act as the lead technician for designated clients, ensuring comprehensive support and strong client relationships.
  • Perform basic cabling troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical support experience.
  • Experience with hardware support for computers, networks, printers, and phones.
  • Basic network troubleshooting and installation skills, including firewall setup and management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services and Azure cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Effective communication skills in-person, via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel to client locations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
  • Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, and firewall certifications.
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
