The Inventory Technician role at Astreya Partners is an entry-level position focused on providing IT support and customer service to enhance the user experience for over 70,000 staff globally. This position involves managing inventory, supporting hardware deployment, and ensuring the functionality of conference rooms, all while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The role is crucial in representing Astreya to its clients and requires adherence to established procedures and detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Daily on-site inventory and asset management.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance for client's conference rooms.
  • Ensure client users have access to equipment in good working order.
  • Support a fast-paced environment focused on video conference rooms with outstanding customer service.
  • Work cooperatively with on-site teammates as assignments require.
  • Ensure audio and visual quality, troubleshoot issues, and handle requests from meeting attendees.
  • Deploy and recover laptop and desktop images.
  • Provide face-to-face customer support for on-site client users.
  • Use ticketing systems to report work accomplishments and track SLAs.
  • Assist with inventory data management to maintain accuracy and workflow.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to install hardware and troubleshoot computer issues.
  • Respond promptly to IT questions from client users.
  • Manage demanding client users and contribute to global projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0 to 2 years of related experience or training in IT support or customer service.
  • Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work with a large team with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to provide a timely and outstanding user experience.
  • Ability to handle daily customer service demands.
  • Basic inventory or IT knowledge.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to identify steps to achieve objectives.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
  • Full-time permanent position with expected hours of 40 per week.
