About the position

The IT Support Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT support team at Interstates. This position ensures the smooth delivery of technical services across the organization while managing and guiding the support team to provide exceptional service. The role involves leading critical technical projects that enhance IT functions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technology initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day and project-related IT activities to ensure positive results in internal customer service, risk mitigation, end user support, and timely completion of IT projects.
  • Supervise and provide technical leadership to the internal IT support team, including performance management, training, and development.
  • Set, implement, and maintain accountability for IT Support standards and policies.
  • Provide back-up support for end users as needed.
  • Provide vision and direction for the IT support team and drive towards that vision.
  • Identify long-term solutions to current issues and seek technology that meets company needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science related fields (preferred).
  • Minimum five years of progressive IT experience.
  • Past supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Proven track record in managing projects.
