About the position

The IT Support Specialist (ITSS) Associate is an entry-level position responsible for providing support to healthcare providers, clinicians, and business professionals using technology solutions. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting consumer-based hardware, software, and peripherals, ensuring accurate and timely support services. The ITSS Associate acts as a direct interface to customers and collaborates with other technical teams to deliver local or remote support. The position requires participation in on-call duties and may involve periodic weekend and night work, as well as travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Install consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems.
• Provide accurate and timely support services for consumer devices.
• Troubleshoot all consumer-based hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Consult with senior ITSS staff regarding equipment or work unit problems.
• Assist with consumer and team training.
• Provide status reports, problem-resolution summaries, and work instructions as required.
• Follow AIT standards for devices and software.
• Work with enterprise AIT technical and business support teams as required.

Requirements

• Must have one of the following IT-related certifications: CompTIA A, CompTIA Network, CompTIA Security, Cisco CCNA, ISC2 CC, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals series (Azure Cloud, AI, Data, Security, etc.).
• Experience in software troubleshooting.
